I'm back! Finally after a long and busy holiday season (I know, excuses, excuses) I am back and so excited to share some delicious recipes with you.

Coming back from the holiday season left my body feeling sluggish. I can definitely pinpoint the sources; turkey overload, desserts, and champagne (had to celebrate of course!)
I was looking forward to being reunited with my healthier eating patterns. To start, I have been on the look out for quick and easy breakfast options. Smoothies are my go to breakfast because they are so versatile.
The smoothie I am currently obsessing over is the tropical banana protein smoothie. By adding a splash of coconut extract with your favorite fruits, it creates a healthy tropical treat.

Topical Banana Protein Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 banana
1/2 cup of frozen assorted fruit (I used Dole)
1/2 cup almond milk unsweetened
Dash of coconut extract
1 tsp of designer whey protein powder
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
